Bush said: "Russia is not going to attack Europe?".
Then who will attack Europe? The EU members will attack one another! Reason: Fighting for markets. Fighting for cheap labor from Africa or Asia! (Europeans will be too old to work.)
Or will US attack Europe? Reason: Market rivalries.
